• Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience working on consumer-facing products and services.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming patterns.
• Knowledge of both relational and non-relational database systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.
• Execution Mindset: A high execution mindset with the ability to balance risk, costs, and timelines effectively.
• A proven history of delivering production-ready applications in a timely manner.
Qualifications
• Node, Express, and TypeScript: At least 2 solid years of experience with Node.js, Express, and TypeScript is a significant bonus.
• Experience in scaling and performance improvement for applications.
• API Development: Experience creating unobtrusive, RESTful APIs, with knowledge of GraphQL as a bonus.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP is highly desired.
• AWS Cloud Services: Familiarity with AWS cloud services is advantageous, and the ability to set up servers is a bonus.
• Excellent written and spoken English; German is a plus.
• A team player who is eager to learn from others and mentor team members.
